Back

We’re back from our trip – it was amazing but we were also happy to be home. We drank delicious inexpensive wine, ate many olives and almonds, amongst other delicious foods, and saw very old and beautiful buildings.

Things are stirring around Scarlett, sometimes I think it takes going away to return with a different perspective. More to tell about that when the time comes.

I got one of these uni-taskers but I think it makes cutting up apples so much more convenient.

Barcelona

Day 1 - Barcelona

We arrived a couple of days ago – it has been lovely! The detailed architecture of the buildings are a feast for the eyes and the balconies with all sorts of plant containers catch my attention everywhere we go. The food has been glorious, the wines delicious and I have not had this much coffee in a while. Café con leche (espresso with milk) for happy jet-lagged me!

Gardeners Therapy

How lucky is a girl when she has friends who can predict what her loves are – here’s to my friend J who practically predicted my love for gardening and all things hort-y. She bought me this lovely hand cream a while back. It smells like herbs and works wonders for my hands since I am often outside digging with my bare hands in the dirt.

Thanks J!
