fresh Mangosteen perfume
I love mangosteens. Anyone who grew up eating the fruit would know that it is a cooling fruit to eat after a hearty devouring of durian. I am thankful to whoever came up with that “rule” because then I always had a chance to eat both of my favorite fruit.
Lately, mangosteens can be found here in the US. Suddenly everyone wants a taste of it, albeit at exorbitant prices. The delicious fruit is worth one taste, in my opinion. The difficult part is trying to stop wanting it after that first taste. I miss it.
But look at this new fragrance from Fresh – Mangosteen Eau de Parfum. I took a whiff of it at Sephora this week. It smells heavenly.

Mmmm…mangosteen! I would love to be able to buy some here, but at $45 per pound, I think I’ll just wait until my next trip to Thailand to savor one.
I did find freeze-dried mangosteen segments at Trader Joes. They’re OK, but they kind of defeat the purpose of fresh, juicy, cooling mangosteen.
Wow!!! A perfume of one my favourite fruits. Now, if only durians could be made to smell as sweet. LOL!
Hmm… I dun think I’ve seen Mangosteen fragance in S’pore as yet. Wonder how it smells like….
Melissas.com sent my work a package of four mangosteens. I got to take home two: one was half rotten and the other was completely rotten. I was so disappointed. My people at work had no idea what it was.
I will need to check out this Mangosteen Eau de Parfum! I LOVE Mangosteen — one of my favorite fruits when in Singapore.
I’ve *never* heard of those in my life! What do they taste like? We’re getting a Sephora here in Albany, so maybe I’ll be able to smell the perfume, at least!
I’m immediately attracted (suckered in?) anytime I see someone blogging about bath and body stuff. hehe
$45 a pound??? OMG.
I grew up with mangosteens and they are my favorite fruit in the world.(born in Vietnam) and of course the perfume is not cheap. Mangosteens not only taste good, they are good for you. After rekindling the memory of mangosteen taste on my return to Vietnam 10 years ago, I have always fantasized about marketing it but of course who would listen 10 years ago? C’est la vie!
Owhhhhhh I miss them. I remember the last time I went back my mom bought them especially for me. We can get them here and they are $5 per FRUIT!!!
