Glassybaby o’ mine

glassybaby.jpg

After hearing others who have purchased a glassybaby, I finally saved up enough excuses to get myself one. I had been wanting to visit the glassybaby studio since they were up in Greenlake but somehow I never did. So today, I made my way to their new studio in Madrona and enjoyed browsing all the beautiful colors of the votive holders. We also had a chance to watch the glassblowers at work.

They come at $40 a pop but to have something this beautiful, handmade locally is worth it. Each of the colors have really pretty names and the one I picked out, after some consideration, was named “Comfort”.

This will not be my last glassybaby.

They are beautiful! And I like that they donate to charity, too. $40 is not much for something handmade.

Pretty! Like the pinkish hue & moccha hue tone ones especially.
